Norton axle nut, 20tpi. Used pre 1947, domed. Suit Norton rigids front & back axle to 1946; rigids, plunger and swing arm rear axle 1947 to 1968+. NOTE: Norton used the same part number post 1946 BUT changed the shape of the nut. This nut is drilled and threaded with open end on the outside ; the previous nut for the rigid/ girder fork axles was a blind nut.
