Battery carrier - Norton 16H, pattern. This carrier is well made. Suits rigid models 1 (Big 4), 16H, 18 etc prior to 1948. I have had these stored for my projects but have decided the current project will be the last. The carriers are a reasonable copy of the original item. However the hinge on these carriers as manufactured has a riveted pin which I have freed and greased. I fitted a long thin bolt with nuts to mine. I have also cleaned up the top clevis pins and greased them.They carriers are complete with the top thread bar with acorn nuts, the formed hinged front.
